OUR PROCESS

Upon sending us your online sign up form, set-up fee, and completed Website Preparation Form you will receive a .jpg “mockup” of your overall website design within 2-3 business days.

Once your design is approved/finalized, we will upload a “place holder” page for your site, so that it can be seen “live” online. The implementation and development of your site will begin at this stage. This is also the stage where you will choose your payment plan and set it up.

Website design and implementation typically takes between 2 and 4 weeks, and is dependent upon the client’s preparation and how quickly the necessary information is provided to HOAWebDesigner.

When your site is completed, you’ll receive your user’s manual and logo cd via USPS Priority Mail.

TERMS OF USE

Projects will commence upon receipt of an online sign up form and the Set-Up Fee. All rights to the materials HOA Web Designer creates or modifies for a client will transfer completely to that client upon receipt of final payment. Until final payment is received, the copyright to all materials created or modified by us for a client will be owned by HOA Web Designer entirely and without reservation by us or our assigns. Should the project deadline require an extension by either party, an extension form must be signed by both parties. Minimum contract term is one year.

Should either party terminate a contract (written or otherwise) before completion, 50% of the Total Cost of Services will be retained by HOA Web Designer, and rights to any designs and/or materials created before the point of termination will belong to HOAWD.

To the extent that the work being performed for the client relies upon references, or uses any name, trademark, or other intellectual property belonging to any third party; client warrants that all necessary rights, licenses or interests in such intellectual property have been obtained, and that all necessary consents in order that HOAWD may use that intellectual property are in order.

Client also agrees to defend, indemnify, save and hold HOAWD completely harmless from any and all costs, loses, claims, demands and liabilities, including all attorney’s fees, as well as any errors, omissions and infringements arising from publication, dissemination and use of those materials we create for you, your company, your representatives and assigns, as well as any liabilities asserted against HOAWD or any of our assigns, that may arise or result from any service offered, performed or agreed to be performed, or from any product or service sold by the client, the client’s company, representatives or assigns, in any way.

The client agrees to grant HOAWD the unlimited, non-exclusive-right to use copies of the client’s project, at our discretion (for promotional and marketing purposes only-ex. our Portfolio).

Any additional services not initally requested will require a new signature before services will be performed.

SITE MAINTENANCE

Website Maintenance is defined as keeping your web site up-to-date, not a redesign of your site. Redesign and new design work is charged at a different rate. We reserve the right to determine what would be considered “redesign” or “new design”. Maintenance required over the allotted time will be charged at a rate of $50 per hour.

We will always maintain a current local backup copy of your web site files in our office. Website update information should be provided to us by email, whenever possible. Providing information in a format that can be copied and pasted will save time, thus saving money.

Although we make every effort to make accurate changes, it is your responsibility as the client, to review updates and notify us of necessary changes. Make certain the changes you send are accurate-if a change needs to be made due to client error and you are over your allotted time for the month, regular fees will be charged.

SHIPPING

Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation.  We ship only to the US.  Shipping charges may vary.
